Home-Study Correspondence
Course Instructions

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for pursuing your Real Estate education with Champions School of Real EstateĀ®! We proudly offer our distance education students the option of completing their courses via Correspondence. Those who are not comfortable working online can read the book and then take the quizzes and exams in one of our campus testing centers. The process outlined below pertains to those who have chosen to use this option. If you have any questions, please contact us at your convenience.

Please Note - This delivery method is only only available for Real Estate CE courses under 10-hours.

What to Expect from the Correspondence Method

Our Home-Study Correspondence course format is a self-paced course which allows you to complete your quizzes and homework at your own pace. Once you have read through the textbook and circled your chapter quiz answers in the textbook, you can go to a campus testing center to have those quizzes graded. Upon passing each quiz successfully, you will then be able to take the closed-book final exam in our testing center to complete the course and receive credit.

Step 1 - Read Course Materials

Your first step will be to read through all applicable course materials at your own pace. Textbooks can be shipped to you for $10 per book or picked up from a campus at no charge.

Step 2 - Complete Homework

Homework questions are available in the back of your Champions textbook for each course and should be answered prior to scheduling your Final Exam. The final exam will not be administered until all of the required homework assignments have been completed with a passing grade of 70% or higher.

Please Note - Textbooks that are not written and published by Champions School of Real Estate do not include the homework questions. In these instances, the homework assignments will be provided to you in a separate print out.

Step 3 - Pass Final Exam

The final exam is closed-book and is administered in a testing center after you have completed all of the required chapter quizzes. The exam must be passed with a 70% or higher to receive a certificate.

  • Exam Retakes - If you fail an exam twice, you must pay a $50 retake fee and retake the course from the beginning. You will be given a different version of the exam on the 2nd attempt.
  • Reporting (CE Only) - Upon completion of the final exam, the course will be marked as complete and the credit will be electronically uploaded to TREC within 24-48 hours of completion. You can check the status of your credit by visiting TREC's website and entering in your license number to see what courses have been recorded.
