TALCB Required Continuing Education (CE) Courses

2024-2025 7-Hour National USPAP Update Course

7 CE Credit Hours (TALCB)

An overview of the 2024-2025 updates to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.

The core of this course focuses on the 2022-2023 Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice updates as set forth by the Appraisal Standards Board of The Appraisal Foundation. Also included are issues that appraisers face in their daily appraisal assignments, as well as common USPAP violations.

Residential Valuation: Report Writing and Case Studies

14 CE Credit Hours (TALCB)

An overview of USPAP rules and the reporting options permitted by STANDARD 2.

This course covers appraisal concepts to build upon the aspiring appraiser's base-level knowledge of report writing, including the various report options, USPAP Standards pertaining to report writing and record keeping, an in-depth review of the Uniform Residential Appraisal Report and Uniform Appraisal Dataset standardization, Fannie Mae forms, writing and reasoning skills, and common reporting errors.

VA and USPAP Appraising

7 CE Credit Hours (TALCB)

An overview of USPAP rules and the reporting options permitted by STANDARD 2.

This 7 hour Appraisal CE course will guide appraisers in producing quality reports by utilizing the tools and resources available to them, including researching and understanding of VA guidelines leading to the production of credible assignment results, the ability to effectively communicate all assignment results in a clear and concise manner, and ensuring appraisal reports align with USPAP and any VA guidance that may be applicable to that assignment.
